If you’ve never been to the Oregon Bee Store, you might be wondering, what is all the fuss about? Well if you think of all the reasons you love living in southern Oregon, simply convey all those features into a shopping destination, and voila! – you have the Oregon Bee Store.

In fact, I remember when I first heard about them, my friend Christina who lived in Central Point at the time, raved about it, and how she makes a point to visit this particular store whenever she can. I totally agree. It is worth the drive, no matter where you live in the Rogue Valley, and be sure to bring the kids. They will learn a lot while having a great time. Here is a summary of why the Oregon Bee Store is one of the Rogue Valley’s all-time favorite stores.

Local family-owned and operated, second generation and potentially third-generation company, founded in 1966, called Wild Bee Honey Farm.
  • The. Best. Honey. Delicious, raw, unpasteurized local honey is their mainstay, and they never heat their honey beyond 110 F, ensuring the product is not losing any healthful enzymes. Buy some for yourself of course, but local honey makes a great gift, too!
  • Beautiful, all-natural handmade beeswax candles, in an amazing variety of traditional and unconventional shapes, sizes and designs; for example, Halloween themed candles
  • Fruits and vegetables – they sell a wide variety of deliciously ripe, ready to eat local produce grown without pesticides. Onions, melons, berries, tomatoes, squash, and much more
Unique gifts – everything from beeswax crayons, candle making kits, fruit spreads, books, t-shirts, tea, candy, garden décor, honey, candles and more
  • Field trip destination for young and old, schools and nursing homes
  • Pollinator garden
