Rogue Valley Perfect Pairings in August…for Cocktails & Cheese!

Peanut butter and jelly. Beer and football. Spaghetti and meatballs. These just go together. And so does cheese and spirits. That’s right, we said spirits; not wine. And we are not talking about the spectral ones, but the cocktails.

Especially when the combination comes from the Oregon Cheese Cave (https://www.facebook.com/oregoncheesecave/) in Phoenix and Immortal Spirits (https://www.immortalspirits.com/) in Medford.

The Oregon Cheese Cave owned and operated by Melodie Picard is a French treat right here in the valley. They have cheese galore and choices for even your vegan cheese-lover friends.

Two types made from cashew milk in fact. With a make-your-own savory waffle bar (organic, gluten-free and vegan) and cute outdoor seating to enjoy your concoction, it is a small slice of France that we hope grows and ages. More events hosted by the Oregon Cheese cave here.

Immortal Spirits started in 2009 in Medford and is a distillery built from scratch that offers whiskey, gin, brandy, rum, absinthe, and Eau de vie. Sample several types of whiskey that they pride themselves on making from charcoaled, Oregon oak casks built here, of course. And besides spirits, they have delicious food too; winning best burger in all of Oregon from Yelp https://www.buzzfeed.com/jasminsuknanan/most-popular-burger-place-in-every-state

And you have a chance to experience the delicious duo of cheese and spirits on Thursday, August 29 at 8:00 pm. Attend their Third Cocktails & Cheese Pairing event at the Immortal Spirits Tasting Room located at 141 South Central Ave in Medford. Get cheesy while imbibing. Sounds like fun to us!
