G Street Bar and Grill, Grants Pass – The Star of the Show is Sushi!

Food, drinks, and live music can be found at the G Street Bar and Grill in Grants Pass. But the real star of the show is the sushi!

Zen Roll

Friday and Saturday nights feature live music in a variety of genres, so there is probably something for everyone. On any given night you might find rock, punk, or alternative bands. The full bar features some beautiful signature cocktails, and Happy Hour specials from 4-6 weekdays offer $1 off draft beers and 50 cents off well drinks.

On G Street in Grants Pass’ historic downtown, you’ll find this establishment decorated with dark wood accents, a full sushi bar where you can watch your selections being created, and a menu featuring both Japanese and American selections. The restaurant also hosts some paint and sip events on specific nights with Pure Life Designs.

Artichoke Appetizer

Guests can enjoy wine, cocktails, and appetizers. Cost includes supplies, first drink, and a selection of finger foods. For a complete calendar of upcoming events, visit the website, www.gstreetbarandgrill.com and join the restaurant’s Facebook page.

Crab cakes and steamer clam starters or a Cashew Cranberry Salad will whet your appetite for a burger, fish, and chips, or steak. But you would be wise to save room for the Japanese dishes and sushi. Noodle dishes, soups, combination dinners, and Sashimi are available as well as rolled sushi and vegetarian sushi options. G St. Bar and Grill also offers lunch specials.

Indo Volcano

Try the Indo Volcano, a baked spicy tuna roll topped with shrimp and spicy mayo. The Volcano is also a great choice if you would prefer your roll un-baked. Or share one of the sushi delights and split an order of the epic macaroni and cheese, which features a cream sauce made with Rogue Dead Guy Ale and topped with breadcrumbs. You can also add chicken and bacon!

Mac N Cheese

Signature cocktails include the Heatherette – white rum, Malibu passion fruit and mango, strawberry puree, passion fruit puree, a splash of soda, and a fresh-squeezed orange. And for something different, and a little spicy, try the Hot Passion – habanero-infused vodka and passion fruit puree, served in a sugar-rimmed glass.

Ribeye Steak and Potatoes

If you’re ordering something other than sushi, be prepared to wait, and larger parties are not always served together. But if the company is just as important as the food, enjoy a long visit, and you may not even notice.

The G Street Bar and Grill is located at 125 SE G St. in Grants Pass, open weekdays at 11 and noon on Saturday and Sunday. It’s in the heart of downtown, so why not stop for lunch and take in some of the great local shops, grab a coffee, and make an afternoon of it? Better yet, go on a weekend when you can start your morning at the Grower’s Market just a few blocks away.
