Got Talent? – Dive Bar Hosts Open Mic, Dance, and Bands

Talent? Oh yea. A local establishment in Talent, Oregon does. The Talent Club is a local bar in the Rogue Valley that features, beer, hard cider and entertainment. Talent Club hosts an open mic night, dance club nights and bands. Fans refer to the “Club” as having the “Cheers” style atmosphere with a “fun vibe” and friendly staff. It is the cleanest “dive bar” you will find around these parts. And in the month of December they have five well-known local bands coming to play.

Fortune’s Folly – December 6th

Although they are a Eugene-based band, this will be their first time performing at the Talent Club. If you have not seen them live yet, you are in for a real treat. This four-piece alternative rock band is high- energy and lead singer Calysta is a dynamo to watch onstage. You can watch them beginning at 9 pm all the way until 12:00 am.

Petty Thievery – December 7th

If you like Tom Petty, then you cannot miss this show. Featuring a combination of classic Tom and those from a wider catalog of his music, this evening is sure to be nostalgic and an opportunity for new memories. It all begins at 8:00 pm. Come watch Bret Levick, Alice DiMicele, Gene Black, Matthew Kriemelman, Nick Kirby and Mark Thomas do all petty, all the time.

More Fatter – December 13th

Get some funk, R&B, jazz, and soul pumping through your veins with this five-man group who just won the High Sierra Music Festival contest in 2019. The fivesome includes Tommy Economou, Márk Fedronic, Théo Fedronic, Gustaf Claesson, and Anthony Puducay. The music is dance-able for sure!

Zepdrix – December 14th

What do you get when you combine Led Zeppelin with Jimi Hendrix, this band covering both. Inger Nova Jorgensen (lead vocals), Paul Turnipseed (Guitar), Matthew Kriemelman (veteran Blue Man Group drummer) & Nick Kirby (Bass) make up ZEPDRIX. Get your tickets early and be there by 9 pm so you do not miss any of it.

Dead AF – December 21st

This is Southern Oregon’s Grateful Dead cover band calling all the Deadheads in the area to come out and celebrate this iconic band right before the holidays hit. They will be rocking from 9 pm to 2 am and it is free! Do not miss the deadline as this show is sure to get the juices flowing.
