A Christmas Story – December 13th through 29th

The Randall Theatre in downtown Medford has turned this humorous story into a heartwarming and funny bone tickling play. Written by Philip Grecian, directed by Dianna Warner and presented by Jean Shephard. You can reserve your tickets for $22 or show up at the door and “pick your price.” The last option is subject to availability. Shows start at either 2 pm or 7:30 depending upon the date. Ceremony of Carols – December 13th through 15th

The Siskiyou Singers present Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols at Southern Oregon University’s
Music Recital Hall. Musicologist Ed Wight will present a lecture one hour prior to the actual performance
if you are interested in learning more about the featured Carols. The event will be a celebration of old
English sacred poetry. General admission is $20 with discounts for students. Tickets are available at
Grocery Outlet in Medford, Paddington Station and the Music Coop in Ashland.

Giant Rock Fusion Dance Party – December 14th

Southern Oregon is ripe for dancing the evening away and getting your body moving during this season of overindulgence. Get an hour dance lesson first on Blues-style moves. Then, dance your blues away at the Rock Boogie Show. The event is sponsored by The Rushmore Society and Giantess and held at the Copper Plank. The dance lesson and event begins at 6:30 pm.

First Frost – December 14th, 2:30 – 10:00 pm

This all-afternoon and into-the-evening celebration will take place at the Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink alongside Lithia Park. This is a popular annual event and you can be sure that Chilly the Snowman and Santa’s Elves will be there showing off their skating skills. It is fun for the entire family!
