Grange Co-op Awards $14,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Seniors

Grange Co-op, in partnership with local Rogue Co-op’s, has awarded over $104,000 in scholarship since 2012. Grange Co-op is excited to continue this tradition by providing eight $1,500 scholarship to local high school seniors and one top scholarship of $2,000, the Rogue Co-op Scholarship.

Grange Co-op congratulates the hard-working and committed young adults of the community by announcing the recipients of the 2020-2021 Grange Co-op and Rogue Co-op Scholarship applications.

“We understand the importance of continuing education for these young adults,” states Neil Itzen, Grange Co-op CEO. “By providing these scholarships we are continuing our purpose to help our communities achieve more together. We really appreciate the continued partnership with Rogue Credit Union, Ashland Food Co-op and Medford Food Co-op where together we award our top prize, the Rogue Co-op scholarship of $2,000. Our youth are the foundation of our future and we are proud to help support hem as they pursue post-secondary education,” states Itzen.

Awarded for their academic excellence and community involvement, the following students received a $1,500 Grange Co-op scholarship. Dominic Regli of Ferndale, CA; Ellie Kenagy of Oakland, OR; Josiah McMenamy of Yuba City, CA; Kealey Fife of Medford, OR; Madison Brown of Myrtle Point, OR; McKenzie Lowry of Mount Shasta, CA; Moriah Michaels of Days Creek, OR; Olivia Jarrett of Colusa, CA. Rogue Co-ops Scholarship for $2,000 was rewarded to Sabine Graetsch of Klamath Falls, OR.

Grange Co-op and Rogue Co-op Scholarships are merit-based. Awardees must meet all scholarship requirements and exemplify the criteria specified. Grange Co-op Scholarship strives to recognize and reward those who have the want and passion to pursue post-secondary education. Grange Co-op congratulates all high school seniors of 2020 and applauds them for their hard work and commitment. Grange Co-op will begin accepting 2021-2022 scholarship applications beginning November 1, 2020.
