The exposed brick interior, which has become a staple of the historic G Street restaurants, mixes with the more modern art, fixtures, and dark wood tables and hardwood floors to create a cozy, yet open ambiance. The full bar in the back of the restaurant offers cocktails, wine, and additional seating for a great meet up spot if you’re skipping the meal and just meeting friends for drinks. There is also outside seating so you can enjoy what’s left of our beautiful summer. And, if you sit outside, you can bring the dog!

Bohemian literally means “unconventional,” and the menu reflects this moniker. All burgers are made from Wagyu beef, and lunch options include unique burger choices like the Whiskey, Brie & Bleu, and Wild Mushroom & Thyme. Sandwich options include the Lamb Gyro and Chicken Parmesan Pita. Other popular choices are the Crispy Gyoza, Margherita flatbread, House Cheddar-Beer Bisque, and Roasted Beet Salad.

Bohemian Bar & Bistro offers happy hour specials Monday through Saturday from 3-6pm, which includes discounted starter and drink options. The menu switches to dinner options at the same time. Enjoy the Bistro Clams, Calamari Frites, or the Shrimp Ceviche appetizer before a delicious Chicken Carbonara Linguini. There are so many delicious combinations. And don’t forget to leave room for dessert!

If you join for the Bohemian Weekend Brunch, don’t forget the brunch cocktails. With unusual options such as the Grants Pass Fog, Tequila Honey Bee, or Pear Elderflower Collins you have a great start to the weekend. There is also a complete selection of mimosas available to pair with the special breakfast menu. Flavors include passion fruit, blackberry, raspberry, white peach, pear, lavender-basil, blood orange, pineapple, El Corazon, grapefruit juice, or traditional orange juice.

The Bohemian is a good spot for a casual lunch or for a special night out. You don’t have to get dressed up, but it wouldn’t be unusual to find a mix of patrons in tank tops and shorts and button-down shirts and dresses. There are lots of great restaurants in Grants Pass these days, but The Bohemian should be on your must-try list. And, if you’ve been there before, it’s time to try something new. Go for a different meal, check out the brunch, or go for drinks and live music.
