C.A.T.S Dancin’ at the Vineyard, Sept. 9th!

On September 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, you can take in the scenery (instead of the cats) and still benefit all the fuzzy felines in Jackson County. The Annual Silent Auction that funds the Committed Alliance to Strays (C.A.T.S) is just around the corner.

C.A.T.S is a rescue organization that always has kitties and cats for adoption. They began in 1990 by three women who noticed that Jackson County had an issue with stray cats and no solution. Their goal is to reduce the population of stray and abandoned cats in the area. They rescue, test, vaccinate, neuter and provide shelter to these friends. At last count, they were about to adopt out their 12,000th kitty! To say that they make a difference is an understatement!

Dancin Vineyards(https://www.dancin.com/) is a winery located at 4477 South Stage Road on the way to Jacksonville. Their beautiful location overlooks the Rogue Valley and has magnificent views of the Table Rocks with Mt. Mclaughlin in the background. You can choose from award-winning Burgundian-style Pinot noirs and Chardonnays along with Barbera, Sangiovese, Syrah, Zinfandel, and Port-style wines. In addition to wine, they offer tasty treats made with fresh, local ingredients.

A trip to Dancin Vineyards offers a scenic drive and a marvelous destination for conversation and views. During the silent auction on September 9th, you can bid on different baskets filled with wine, food, and opportunities for adventure. There is no cost to attend but you do need to make a reservation. Call 541-779-2916 to ensure that there is still room for attendees. If you are interested in helping the Cats Alliance beyond the auction, here is more information about their location and hours.
