Twisted Cork- The Grants Pass Destination For Food, Wine, and Relaxation

Twisted Cork is THE choice for a perfect date night or treats for your out of town guests in Grants Pass.

Settle into the warm lighting, dark wood, and red wine-colored interior. You can sit at the bar or grab a table. You can make reservations if you have 8 or more in your party.

Featuring 800 bottles of wine on any given night, with 16 available by the glass, you are sure to find something that fits your tastes. Or try a wine flight and enjoy the variety of wines available from Oregon, Washington, and California.

But the real reason to visit is the food. The appetizers, top to bottom, are a feast for the taste buds. The toughest part is deciding which to try this time around. The Warm Blue Cheese Potato Chips go great with one of the signature salads. And the Warm Cheese Stuffed Dates (with bacon!) go great with everything! The Warm Brie is also a surprising treat. It’s covered with a blueberry compote, almonds, and lavender honey, and served with bread and crackers. It is available as both an appetizer and dessert.

The Roasted Poblano Soup is also a great starter. You’ll find yourself needing to stop for lunch soon just for another taste because you won’t soon forget it.

The steaks are the stuff of legend here. You can cover the rib eye with a smoked chile butter or order it with a blue cheese crust and a cherry reduction or a basil chimichurri. There is also a Pomegranate Cinnamon Flank Steak. Side dishes include such bliss-filled options as pistachio couscous and sauces for some of the main dishes include a savory apricot sauce, chorizo saffron aioli, tomato fennel citrus sauce, and champagne-citrus beurre blanc. And if these options aren’t enough, ask about the daily specials. If you can talk your dinner companion into ordering something different, maybe you can sneak a bite.

The servings are generous, and it seems like every bite is better than the last. When the dessert menu comes, you’ll think you couldn’t possibly make room. But you’ll find a way. The cheesecake and crème Brulee flavors change daily, so ask the server. Regular selections include Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake with sea salt and a Chocolate Zinfandel Cake filled with a blackberry zinfandel buttercream frosting and blackberry sauce. These selections are not just delicious, but quite beautiful and worthy of an Instagram post to make your friends jealous.

No minors are allowed inside but can be seated outside, weather permitting. Keep in mind that the small kitchen can create a bit of a wait, but it’s a great chance to visit with your dinner guests and order another glass of wine. Check the website for the winemaker’s dinner events.
