No Fees! Plenty of Fun – Opt Outside on Black Friday!

Long shopping lines and crowded stores and malls are not for everyone.

To encourage taking advantage of the outdoors, fitness and family fun, the State park systems of Oregon and Washington will be waiving their fees the day after thanksgiving.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will also be offering free fishing, crabbing, and clamming across the state.

Green Friday

Oregon State Parks encourages hiking, biking, and peace and quiet in their Black Friday event called “Green Friday”. Work off those turkey pounds, and enjoy nature before winter hits!

FREE Fishing days! Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th!

No fishing licenses or tags (including a Combined Angling Tag or Columbia River Basin Endorsement or Two-Rod Validation) are required to fish, crab or clam anywhere in Oregon.

Out of State? No worries, all of your friends and relatives are invited to fish for free as well!

All other fishing regulations apply including closures, bag limits and size restrictions, so check with your Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations to find out more.

Check out the latest Oregon Fish and Wildlife Report for zone specifics and bag limits if you are fishing for salmon, steelhead or marine fish.
