Elkton Art & Wine Weekend – November 29, 30, and December 1st

30 artisans, 6 eateries, and 4 wineries are involved in this “all things art and wine” weekend sponsored by the Elkton Community Education Center ( You can get-out-of-town for the holiday weekend in this beautiful spot on the way to the coast that has a lot to offer. Make sure to pick up your passport so you can get stamps and get entered in the drawing to win a basket of goodies ( You can even stay at the Big K Guest Lodge ( for only $99 and eat breakfast, lunch, dinner or Thanksgiving Dinner in their lodge. Downtown Tree Lighting in Grants Pass – November 29th

From 5:30 to 8:30 pm, get downtown in Grants Pass to see the annual lighting ceremony. The tree lights up at 6 pm with Santa’s arrival in downtown Grants Pass! There will be concerts and activities in the Holiday Plaza on the corner of 5th and G streets. Festivities begin at 5:30 pm and there will be a live concert by Rogue Suspects Featuring Shae Celine from 6-8:30 pm. After lighting the tree, Santa will be in his workshop until 9 pm to visit with the kids!

FREE Pie and Ice Cream Social – December 1st

Josephine County Fairgrounds puts on this free family event. Annual FREE Pie & Ice Cream Social on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at the Josephine County Fairgrounds between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. There will be many Holiday Festivities for all ages including Live Christmas Music. For the kids, there will be activities provided by the YMCA, coloring contests, and the Magic Chimney. There will also be special appearances from Santa Claus and the Gingerbread Man!
