Read Local, Buy Local at the Ashland Library Local Author Fair

ASHLAND LIBRARY HOSTS LOCAL AUTHOR FAIR

Celebrate local literary culture with 60+ authors at this Read Local, Buy Local event

The Ashland Library’s Local Author Fair will take place on Sunday, December 8 from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. throughout all departments of the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.

Support and celebrate local literary culture by interacting with more than 60 successful local authors during this free event. Attendees can purchase signed books as unique gifts for the holidays, listen to short readings and talks by authors and publishers throughout the afternoon, and enjoy free prize drawings to win books donated by participating authors every half hour.

“I love the Local Author Fair!” said Susanne Severeid, author of Mocha Musings: Reflections on Life, Love, and Chance Encounters. “Our local authors are so outstanding, and many are nationally known. What a great chance to meet these writers donating their time for our Read Local, Buy Local event.”

There will be a wide range of genres represented and new books to discover. Children’s authors, teen authors, poets, and fiction and non-fiction writers will attend.
