Brews and Pizza on the Wild Side!

If you’re enjoying a craft beer, perusing unique pizza options, and enjoying a fun atmosphere perfect for gatherings large and small, you might be at Wild River Pizza!

With locations in Grants Pass, Medford, Cave Junction, and Brookings, Wild River has a varied menu that likely to offer options for all in your party!

The Grants Pass location also offers a separate Publick House with a full-service bar; limited menu; meeting and event space for up to 160 people; and special events such as comedy shows, live music Tuesday and Thursday nights, and sports on 6 big-screen TV’s.

Established in 1975 in Cave Junction, Miller’s Shady Oaks Pizza Deli expanded to Brookings in 1980.

In 1990, the brand established the Steelhead Brewery name and began brewing beer. In 1994, the company changed its name to Wild River and expanded to Grants Pass with the restaurant’s first full-service offerings and an open kitchen where guests can see the giant wood-fired pizza ovens in operation. As soon as you enter, you’ll also be immediately greeted with the brewhouse, which brews 62,000 gallons of beer per year. And if the brewer is on-site and not busy, you can ask for a tour.

Scratch-made pasta, hand-tossed pizzas, and fresh sandwiches and salads pair with house-made Wild River Old Fashioned Root Beer, local wines, and Wild River ales and lagers. Much of the produce found in menu items is even sourced from Wild River’s own garden, so you know it’s as fresh as can be. And if you come by during Happy Hour (Monday through Friday 4-6 and 9-close and all-day Sunday) you’ll be treated to food and beer specials.

Settle into the relaxed atmosphere at any Wild River location where kids can play video games and the whole family can gather for unique food and drink options and a Southern Oregon-inspired décor. Start with the ale-battered pub fries or the homemade minestrone soup made with Taylor’s Sausage. Try a half-pound burger such as the Imperial Stout Burger, served on a house-made bun. Or try unique pizza option such as the Oktoberfest (smoked sausage and sauerkraut) or the Bait Bucket (shrimp, oysters, and anchovies). Many menu selections also offer a brewer’s recommendation for a companion brew. And, if you have the appetite, try a calzone or one of the generously sized sandwich options. Or go for a lighter main dish and save room for the bread pudding or homemade éclair. Both are worth the extra time at the gym tomorrow!

Beer options include 10 regular brews on tap, such as the popular Nut Brown Ale and Black Hops IPA. You can also sample seasonal brews, when available, including a Blackberry Porter, Oktoberfest, Snug Harbor Old Ale, and the Cave Bear Barley Wine.
